How Do You Know If You Are Going Crazy?

How do you know if you are going crazy? Are there warning signs, or does it come on quickly, or in brief episodes? The odds are good that if you even have to ask this question you do have a minor mental illness of some kind, as one in five people do. Most get by just fine, but it's a good idea to talk to someone about it.

The question is how do you know if you are going crazy? The answer is not easy, because often people who are crazy don't realize it themselves, and wouldn't even think to ask the question.

Often somebody who is normally sane will take some drugs or alcohol, and start to hallucinate, or think in an unusual way. However, this can also bring on serious mental illneses like schizophrenia or psychosis, and it can also happen naturally, even without any chemical cause.

I would sugest that some of the syptoms that you are going crazy is that people tell you that you're not thinking clearly, or you are acting strange.

Ask someone if they think you have been acting unusual, or tell them what you have been thinking, and see how they react. Sometimes our thoughts are best left to ourselves, but if it's really bothering you, go an talk to a psychologist.

Am I Going Crazy?

One time I thought I was crazy, and I went in for an appointment at a mental health facility, to talk to someone about it. In the waiting room, there was a guy who said: "me and my dad are time-traveling bunnies!".

And I said, "yes, it is eternal". I still thought I had a problem, but it turns out that it was just a phase I was going through, and I just needed to stop smoking pot.

However, if you aren't smoking pot, taking other illegal drugs, drinking alcohol, or taking any other sort of intoxicant, and you still think that you are seeing things that aren't there, I would suggest you consult your doctor immediately.

One in five people has some sort of mental illness, so if you suspect that you do have one, you're probably right. It may not be all that serious, but it's a good idea to know what you're dealing with, if there is a diagnosable condition.

How do you know if you are going crazy? You talk to someone who understands these things, and tell them what you're thinking. The very fact that you need to ask the question must mean something is wrong.
